Thomas Michael Wooden

age 63, of Carmel, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Tom was born on November 21, 1951, in Indianapolis, to the late William Thomas Wooden and Wilma Jean (Faulk) Wooden who survives her son. Tom was a 1970 graduate of Carmel High School; he attended IUPUI for a short time. Thomas was a brick mason and a masonry contractor for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, listening to music and traveling with his wife, Cynthia (Frost) Estes who he married on July 4, 1997, in Westfield, IN. Tom will be greatly missed by his family, his wife Cynthia, and mother Wilma. Children are Jessie Wooden and Seth Wertz. His step-children are Cari Denham, Amie Cox, April Walden, and twelve grandchildren. Also surviving Tom are three siblings, Steve (Nancy) Wooden, Keith (Delaine) Wooden and Jean (Steve) Wyatt.

A Celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. where friends and family are invited to gather from 9:00 a.m. till time of service at Hope Church, 2500 E. 98th St., Indianapolis. Tom's brother, Pastor Keith Wooden will have the honor of officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gathering Together, 147 N. Center St., Plainfield, IN 46168.
