I remember Larry as a humble, fun guy to be friends with. He always smiled and enjoyed life. We packed the funeral home for his service and almost emptied out the high school. I can remember being there like it was yesterday.

It seems that a thousand thoughts and feelings cross my mind when I think of Larry's passing. What his family must have gone through, who he might have become and the big question, why..,? And then I remember that that this could have happened to anyone of us, that tomorrow is promised to no one, that today I'd better live life to the fullest. But how often I've forgotten to be grateful and take life for granted. But occasionally when I go through that phase, when I'm lucky, I'll think of Larry and the joy that he brought us and remember how grateful I should be.

Larry Dee died of a tragic car accident our Senior Year. I remember going to his funeral ... a lot of CHS classmates attended.I think it was in the Spring, so I'm guessing the year was 1970.
