Having just joined this site last week, what a shock it was to see that Ron had passed away so many years ago. I had not kept in touch after graduating from Carmel. Ron lived two houses down from me so we drove to school together virtually every day from 16 on. He had one of the most irreverent senses of humor of anyone I've ever known. He was one of the disk jockeys at the the school station and would sneak up behind the person reading the news and set the paper they were reading on fire. Something kind of like Harpo Marx might do given a blow torch. Ron was gifted in many ways, he was a very good driver having driven many tractors on the family farm in Fishers but his most significant gift was his ability to make a joke. I'm saddened at his passing.
