We buried Jan's mother this week, Betty Jean Cox, was our last parent to pass.  Nothing brings a family together like births and deaths.  Dan Chapman surprised me showing up at the funeral to pay his respect.  Dan and I came to the joint conclusion that our generation is, "On Deck" so to speak for the end if our lives.  This made me think,

Do not go gentle into that good night,

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

The Great Depression/WW II generation is passing before us. Now the Boomers are heading into the last 3rd of thir lives. I plan to slide across the finish line, chocolate & wine in hand. "Wow, what a ride!"
